Bosveld Wedren Klub was established again in 2016, after the oval events were held by promoters for the past few years.  It was decided that it is in the best interest of the sport that the club will host events in the future.

 

The purpose of Bosveld Wedren Klub is to function as an independent corporation for the purpose of promotion, care and encouragement of motorsport in Mokopane and South Africa.   The Club’s aim is to provide a recreation service to the Mokopane community with a love for the sport.  Bosveld Wedren Klub is a non-profitable club and mostly rely on donations and sponsorships.  The Club consists of numerous members and is managed and controlled by a committee. The Committee consists of a Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and three Additional Members.

 

Since the club has taken over the events in 2016, the sport has already grown in Mokopane and is still growing each day.  With each event, we try to better on the previous event and bring an even better event for the community of Mokopane.  The club is also already representing Mokopane across the country by participating at other clubs in Limpopo, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West and even Cape Province.  With this, we try to promote the sport and in the process also get the other provinces to come and participate in Mokopane.

 

Bosveld Wedren Klub is affiliated with WOMZA, the governing body of Oval Motorsport of the whole South Africa.
